READ MOREWe aim to provide each patient with a pleasant eye care experience and excellent service with a personal touch. We are a family-orientated practice (literally!) and take great pride in serving everyone of any age.
WE CARE ABOUT YOUR EYES
A contact lens examination is done with a Slitlamp Microscope to evaluate the health of the front surface of the eye and the fitting of the contact lens.
For a first-time contact lens wearer, it is important to evaluate the corneal health and determine the correct contact lens for your eyes. We thoroughly discuss the do’s and don’ts of contact lens wear, teach proper contact lens care and illustrate contact lens insertion techniques.
Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) is a chronic condition in which the meibomian glands present in the eyelids do not secrete enough oil or secrete oil of poor quality.
The aim of treatment is to increase the flow of meibomian gland secretions so that the resulting tear film is stable and does not evaporate quickly.
Learning problems are often related to vision problems. We provide a comprehensive eye examination where we examine the refraction, eye movements, depth perception, colour vision, alignment of eyes, accommodation etc.
We enjoy going out to schools and do screenings.
Dyslexia is a learning disorder that involves difficulty reading due to problems identifying speech sounds and learning how they relate to letters and words (decoding).
Sometimes dyslexia go undiagnosed for years and isn’t recognized until adulthood, but it’s never too late to seek help.
We believe in investing time, care and thoroughness into each patient’s eye examination. Periodic ocular health and visual examinations are an important part of preventive health care.
We follow an annual program of continued professional optometric education. We work closely with ophthalmologists and refer patients who need medical eye care or ocular surgery.
